Authentic Hana Modz V3 Misfiring Issue...

    Hey guys!

Got a huge problem I just came across and have no idea what's causing it or how to fix it. Hoping I can brainstorm the source of the issue if no the solution with you guys.

I bought my Hana Modz V3 from The Vape Shop which has JUST gone out of warranty, and it had been really niggly over the last week.

Now, as soon as it makes a connection with any atomiser, it shorts out. It doesn't say SHORTED, or CHECK ATOMIZER, the screen goes black and then boots up with HANA MODZ over and over and over again.

If I do it too loose it just says CHECK ATOMISER, if I do it just a smidgen tighter, it goes back to the HANA MODZ screen.

So as far as I can gather, something's wrong with the base connection.

I have no idea what caused it. I've always been gentle when screwing on the atomiser for fear of pretty much this exact problem.

And, I have no idea how to fix it.

Any input and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers.
Happy, proud & most importantly SAFE sub-ohm vaper.

***WARNING TO NEW VAPERS AND NEW SUB OHM VAPERS***
Do not attempt to sub ohm without completing the following check list
    a) Accurate ohm reader (best: milliohm meter; standard: ohm checker, worst: zeroing a multimeter)
    b) Quality battery (i.e. Sony 18650 VTC5)
    c) Know the limits of your battery
    d) Decent comprehension of Ohm's Law
    e) Experience in building good coils
    f) Be vigilant, avoid complacency
    g) If you don't know, ASK!

I'd just open it up and check the bottom of the 510 connection. Chances are there is a loose wire.

Oh mine was doing this the other day. I thought it might have been the atomiser but haven't gone back to check it.

    What's a fat daddy?

It's an after market spring loaded 510 connector. Works a treat.

Sounds like absolute genius lol. I'll check if there is a loose wire like ssstahly said, otherwise I'll look into that.

Cheers guys. I'll update with what I find out, just incase anyone else has the same problem and stumbles across this thread.

Okay, so I had a fiddle with it and I have no idea what I did but it works now lol.

Maybe when I opened it up I released the vaping poltergeist lol. Who knows.

Apologies to the person who eventually looks to this thread with a similar problem and finds no answer lol.
