    Eleaf Istick broken

    Hi All,

I have been keeping up to date with everyone's problems with their isticks, mainly the threading getting stripped. I must admit I was sitting back with a smile on my face going "I must be the lucky one, mine is fine"!!! Not any more. The threading is shot and I've had it probably about 4-5 months.

Unfortunately, I bought another on Friday, and I don't want to cancel the order, so I'll just treat it as a throw away device until the new one breaks.

Back to my trusty MVP2's. Can't wait for the new MVP3.

Try squeezing around the top of the 510 connector very gently with a wire stripper of you have one. Just enough to close the hole a fraction. Did this with my mvp that had stripped and it is fine again.

If you're going to dispose of it or have no need for it, I wouldn't mind grabbing it off you for some tinkering. See if I can fit an aftermarket 510 connector on it.

    Cheers.

    Would thread tape work?
Is there anything you can think of that causes this?
    Were you over tightening it?
Would it help to use the adapter and leave that permanently in the istick?

Some of us would be sure to destroy our isticks if we took to them with pliers, soldering irons and dremels.

Probably be pretty damn good with a FD and maybe jam a 3400 pana in there.

Even better if they do a v2 with some rms in it.

Or just send it to me, I'll fix and upgrade it and send it back.
