    Some quick questions on Mechanical

    Hello!

So... recently i lost my Provari + Russian which sucked considering the cost of it.

Anyways, im looking into buying another build now but looking into a cheaper option.
Also im hoping to upgrade my skill level and get into mechanical mods, however im pretty new at it. So after some research, i wanted to confirm what i know is correct before i make the purchase.

Here is what im thinking of getting:

    Orchid V4 Clone
    Nemesis Style Mech Mod Clone

Now this is where im stuck at.
The batteries i use are AW 18350/700mAh/3.7 Volts. After some research, a safe Ohms to be at is 0.7 (i think).

Now because the Orchid V4 supports dual coils, does this mean i should use 2x 1.5 Ohms coils? What thickness should i be looking at?
I was thinking of also buying the coils to be on the safer/convenient side. Maybe something like this but if you have a better suggestion, please let me know!

Thanks everyone! I goto get one asap, started smoking again.

    cheers,
    b.

I build my orchid to these specs - 30g kanthal, 6-8 wrap microcoils. WTH, I've got to clean it - I'll post a few pics... soon. unless you go a kick, you will loose the flexibility of the VV/VW device.

Nice unit - airy draw, easy build -

    -'ve - Allen key screws

    edit here you go

    and one before the clean

    Hey Altered!

Thanks for taking the photos. So i see you got 1.1 ohms. Does that mean each coil is around 2 ohms? Also what is a kick?

What are you using since you lost the provari?
Why not get an Atlantis clearo, and sub ohm battery?
They're very simple and effective vaping devices.

Not using anything.. just back to the cigarettes.

I liked the Russian when i had it. So i wanted to get something similar to that. It worked well with my Provari. I wanted to try a mechanical mod this time to try something new, but just making sure im doing it right since it can get pretty dangerous.

Sorry for my noobness, but what is a 'sub' ohms battery?

You don't need the kick, it just provides a bit of safety and flexibility. I'll defer to someone smarter on which one - VV or VW.

Yes, the coils come out at 1.19ohms - which means each coil is about 2.4ohms

Only good if you're a lung vaper though. Too much air flow for mouth to lung.

Note: $$$ saved is not true as I now spend it all (plus more) on vaping gear
