    Is this battery still OK?

I just tried to vape and my battery was flat.
I put it into my soshine h2 v2 charger, and it looks like it was down to 1 %, it has been on for about 15 min and is up to 7 %.
I don't think it was flat when I used it last about 4 days ago. I left in in the mechanical mod ( Chi yu clone) with the dripper unscrewed so it could not complete the circuit, and the but lock ring screwed down to lock while we went away for the week end.
So, if it some how drained, or I vaped it down to 1% is it still safe to use?
There is no evidence of excessive heat in the vulcan dripper or anywhere else that I can see, so I don't think it fired on it's own.

It is a genuine vtc5 from a very trusted source.

    Ok, no
    Dangerous, probably not.
Will ever be a trusted capacity battery again, also probably not.

Similar has happened to me but I couldn't face throwing it away & still use it. Really as Mr Gruffy said the wise thing to do is to bin it.

What do you mean by trusted capacity? Do you mean it will not hold a full charge, but will the charger will say it is fully charged? Or that it will self discharge more quickly?

Let it charge fully and see what happens. It should be fine.

The fact it said 1% means it wasn't below a safe voltage ... if it was, I don't think the charger would've started charging it. Is it still charging okay?

1% is a useless measurement, get something to read it's voltage.

They judge SOC by voltage measurement ... but display it as %SOC
