To drill or not to drill? - MMV DID mini

Just got this of gresh, genuine DID mini.
Built it a few days ago, 1.4ohm 28g coil on mesh, flavour is great, but draw is a little tight.

The better 1/2 tried it last night on her istick mini, which fired it at 4.5V no probs - she'd been complaining about all flavours tasting the same & nothing was any good, so I figured maybe a mesh wicked genie may fix that till the vapers tounge went away.
She agreed with me, flavour is great, it vapes real nice, but draw is too tight.

So, do I take a drill to a nice piece of genuine hardware or do I learn to love it as is?

Am I gonna screw up the air hole/chamber volume ratio by drilling it out a little?

Just a tighter draw, you/she will get used to it fast.

I drill a lot of attys but have only bought clones.
If you're never going to sell it I don't see a problem.

If you have noticed this notice you may have noticed that this notice is not worth noticing. That is all.

I see no reason why not to make your vape more suited to your preference.

Have any of you thought that the air hole size has been calculated to suit the size of the chamber and the associated dynamics :unknown:

Changing that could and most probably would affect the performance of the atomiser. This isnt a $20 dollar dripper from fastech.

Stewey - that's why I am hesitant to drill, I don't want to screw up the 'tune' of it.
May just let it grow on me, I'll start by closing up the air holes on my kraken a bit so the difference is not as big.

Give it a chance mate, there is a marked difference from Kraken draw to a 1mm draw that takes a little to get used to. Give it time, mouth to lung, you will find it becomes second nature, but be careful you could end up with all attys with 1mm airholes :giggle:
