That's a cool idea. I bought 6x reading glasses for $14 on ebay which come with a hard case, they fit neatly in my little rebuild box

I have absolutely no idea how anyone could read with them as I can't even walk properly with them on, but great for fiddly stuff though.

    I bought these off Fasttech : https://www.fasttech.com/p/1936403

They are pretty good and do the job I need them to do, makes coil building and wicking a helluva lot easier, that is for sure

I grabbed a magnifying lamp like the one in the pic in the first post but off eBay (item was in Australia) for like $22 I think, has x5 mag. I don't like the glasses type much (already had them) as I can't wear them while wearing my normal glasses as well. Lol no point magnifying something fuzzy as crap to look like bigger fuzzy crap hehehe.

Back in the olden days when I was a kid (yesterday according to the good lady) and vaping gear was just coming into second generation, I had to re-purpose some eGo battery circuits.

They are very small!! Soldering new switches and leads to these buggers would eat your lunch if you are like me and half blind. I bit the bullet and latched on to a set of these from China.

Not recommended for anybody who will not take the time to set them up for individual use, but when set up they are good.

Yes, they can be ordered already mounted on blank glass glasses or can be mounted on your own. You would be hard pushed to read the Sunday or anyday's paper wearing these. The field of view and the focal length are not ideal. Ok for focused work, but that's it.
