    Billet Box Modifications and Alternatives

It seems that there are a lot of modders are now working on atomizers and accessories that allow low ohm vaping in your billet box. We don't seem to have a specific thread for them so feel free to add anything you find or create to this thread. A lot of what is being developed is discussed on facebook, so for all of us that are not...........

A modder in the US has created a bridge like adapter that allows you to use KangerTech OCC low ohm coils in your billet box. Called the Kangaroo, these coils can be used as is or recoiled to suit. Proviso, it can only be used in the Boro tank.

Link is to an order form

Speaking of, atmo still claims 2-3 weeks. They said that 2 weeks ago

Another one is the Siluro. Not much info out yet though. Thinking it's something similar to the diver and Sophia. But from the recent video that went up it creates some decent vapor.

I just ordered the Siluro from the vendor web site https://precisionmachining.storesecu...uro-detail.htm .
Watched the video posted in their FB page and it looks good to me.
Let's see how it goes... Cheers

I was about to but $105 to my door I'll pass for now. Really isn't that much to it for that price. I'm sure someone could mock one up easily enough. Almost looks like a rebuilt carto.

Let us know what it's like though

Thanks for the links slippo. I think GT and I have the makings to DIY this. While I was looking for the XX clearomiser/cartomizer I stumbled across some ceramic cups that were too big for what I needed. I think they will work in this instead of paying $12 US for spares. The ceramic cup is the fragile bit.

Just wanted to ask, surely the batteries the BB runs are less than ideal for a low OHm application?

these are the recommended cells to use and they only have recommended max continuous discharge of 1.5A each.
    Test of AW 16340 ICR123 750mAh (Black)
so maybe 3Amp for the two? not really capable of low Ohm it would appear.
