    Learning about making drip tips.

So I was educating myself as I best know how (youtube) about making drip tips. I watched this guy make magic out of chunks of resin.

His drip tips are top notch, and relatively cheap. That is considering that after he has all the materials together it takes him at least 20 minutes (without screwing around calibrating the machines) to make just one of these babies. That was how long the video took to play.

Drip tips, bespoke drip tips, hand made drip tips,uk,drip tips,510 drip tips

Waaay better than the mass produced stuff on the market.

This isn't a sales pitch, I don't know the bloke.... but they are really amazing..... like wow.

I'm not seeing the unique quality, range or workmanship Crisscross. Does not compare, just more mass produced stuff.

Luckily I have all my tanks with all the different colours so I am ok. I looked at his work on the unique tanks last year so maybe he has improved the shipping cost.

Siam used to have a range of one off stone drip tips there. Every one was unique.

I can't see it now. Maybe he stopped and just does one off damascus ones now.

I watched the big bore video and the start of another one and he didn't measure anything. I am sorry but if you manufacture something like drip tips and you check your sizes by trying it in a carto they are certainly going to be unique. What I saw was a bloke in a shed muddling his way though a machining job that he was doing very inefficiently and inaccurately. His resin work looks nice but I would be very hesitant on buying any of his stuff.

Here are some blanks for you to play with. Wood N Workshop - Pen Kits - Timber & Turning Supplies - Felder - Bruce Haggie
