Just got my IPV4 - new to Temp Control

So my IPV4 arrived today I've never dealt with temp control before.
The only Ni200 I have is 32g (I think it's 32, I got it in December and it's not labelled).
I tried a dual micro/contact coil in the Zenith v2 - 13 wraps per, came to .12-.15ohm, and it's not a terribly good vape. Set it to 420f and 30j - vapour production is good, but flavour just isn't there.
What builds should I try? I figure I should probably master single coil with Ni200 before I try dual. Recommended resistance for TC is like 0.15ohms isn't it? Or was that just for the DNA40?
Is twisted 32g worth a shot for a single coil?
Spaced or contact? Any tips/advice for TC would be greatly appreciated!

I've been using 28 gauge, 7-8 wraps over 2.5 drill, spaced out.
Gives about .1-.12. Anything from 22 watts, to 30.
Works well on dna 40, not sure on what chip you've got.
Make sure the coils are evenly spaced. I use a bit of cut off wire for my spacing.
I'll try and post a link for a video later.

So I ended up doing 2x32g twisted, came to 0.117 ohms - and it's vaping quite nicely 460f and 40j

I do my builds like this guy, but wick it like butt kickers for heavy vg.

I'm find the ohms jump abit on the Lemo 2. I find the subtank and Lemo drop the best with what I have.
Make sure the screws and tank base connections are tight!!
    I'm still learning myself.

Yes my lemo 2 is the same. It needed the cotton fluffed up to wick.
I had no problem using 28g nickel to make a coil.
The twisted 32g in shaitans pic looks very good.
I'll have to get some different guage wires to try.
Has anyone heard of Titanium wire for DNA40 or YiHi sx350j temp control chips?

I've seen mention of it, like people wanting to try it, but haven't seen or heard of anyone actually trying it.
Just did a quick search -

I'm going to look for the titanium wire.
    It seems safe enough.
    This looks interesting.

Thanks ticks! It sure is vaping fine! Got it set to 486F and 50J.

I vaped it till there was no flavour left (but it was still producing vapour), then took the top cap off and kept firing. Soon enough it told me I had a dry coil. Not sure how well you can see it in the photo linked below, but it is definitely pretty damn dry! It seems to work as it should! I'm glad I didn't go with a DNA40 clone like I had originally thought about (there are a couple of recently listed 60w variants on FT that looked quite tempting).
