    Going Ultra

Tried my best to sub-ohm, but Im pretty certain that sub-ohming are for folks who prefer very light throat hits. I found it impossible to balance the nicotine level and wattage to give me the satidfaction.

    Instead, I've gone the opposite.

A 4.0 ohm coil running at 10Watts, with 40% VG, 22mg/mL nicotine. Its perfect.

    Thats 4, not 0.4.

I just changed the coil so I can taste test my next ejuice mix.

Made a 3.1ohm coil this time, and brang the wattage down. Found my adjusted level in 5 seconds.

I could get used to this. I have over 120 flavour concentrates, and Im going to be able to test them out for under $4 wroth of kanthal and cotton. I might buy a few drippers now.

Dont know happened to that atlantis tank you were going to send me, you can keep it now. heh.

    Why wouldn't it? 4Ω @ 10W is only 6.32V (modern chips go to 8+ V)

A good read on ECF: https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...evices.611315/

Most new mods are limited to 3ohms though GT.

Fair enough, depends on the chip I guess

Strange that they would do that though, higher ohms are less likely to harm the chip than very low ohms, but there you go I 'spose ...

As baz said GT most chips don't fire or even regulate over 3 ohms now as most only do vw and not old skool vv now even though I'm sure vv is still more accurate

What chip on the board aswell :unknown:

Looks like an istick 50w above mate. Eleaf say it's rated up 5ohms.

I'm hanging out for sub-sub-ohming. Negative ohms, you know what i'm saying?

Actually seriously, I hear what you're saying Purplevapes. @ Sub-ohms I'm definitely getting the extra flavour but the vaper is too much and too dry for me. My limited experience is sending me back to between 1-1.5ohms with 12mg nictone which was the strength and ohm level I was digging immediately

I thought I had managed to find the balance between vapour and throat hit after a couple of days, but eventually I either got sick fo the low throat hit, or I began ODing on nic.

If you like a 12mg/mL throat hit, you might have a different experince, and your disliking of the subohming may be different to my dislikings.

I just found the vapour too hot. As tugboat accurately described it, it was like Satan farting in my mouth. Flavour was great, the clouds were so massive my whole apartment was foggy throughout. When the nic level was down, despite the heat, the vape was the smoothest Ive ever had.

But I need that throat hit. Some say VTF (vapour, throat hit, flavour). For me, its TFV as far as priorities go. Im quite happy vaping 100%PG and no flavour if it meant I get the perfect amount of throat hit.
