Question EVIC VT 60W MOD Help needed from other owners ( so frustrated with temp mode )

Hey, so totally excited, just got this today, but I am in dire need of help/advice.

The issue is, I have titanium 0.5ohm coils, and it says to turn on VT-Ti mode, push the button 3 times then push to the right to choose VT Temp control mode Ti, which I do, and it saves at lets just say 500F. I then wait 10 secs or click the button to confirm.

The second I fire to inhale (whilst showing temp), and view the screen again, it goes back to what seems like power mode automatically.

It no longer lists the temp unless I go back and re-do the above steps, it just lists power/voltage/atomizer/battery.

What am I doing wrong here? Why cannot i not lock it in at temp mode, it automatically kicks back to power mode. All the videos
I see online see people vaping, and going back to the screen, and re-adjusting the temp freely, yet I cannot do that, its driving me insane.

    Please can someone help me!

    Thanks!

    Mine doesn't.
    It can't go below 30watts.

I just tested it and even at 45W it makes no difference, regardless of the temp.

I just uploaded a video guys to youtube showing the issue, please watch it and let me know

    Download the manual from here.

I'm not sure what you mean, mine says,
    Temp Ti
    470F
    Power
    32watts
    Atomizer
    0.43Ω
    It doesn't change.
Well it does when you press fire, the watts move around, but it stays in Ti.

As you state you are using a ti coil I assume you have the mega tank on it with ti coil. I have not experienced it myself and have found it to stay in TC when using the ti in the mega tank. I now run a GCT with ni coil and once again have not had it happen. I do wonder though whether it is related to the coil. If the device doesn't see the ti coil behaving like a ti coil it jumps out. That being said I wonder if your ti coil is not right. Have you tried the ni coil that came with it? Does this give the same issue? If it does I would suggest maybe your eVic may have a fault. If the ni coil works fine then perhaps a faulty ti coil.
