Question Titanium on a snow wolf 200?

Hi, I was looking at buying some 26g titanium wire for tc control on my sw200 instead of nickel, which I've heard conflicting reports about the safety thereof.

    Has anybody tried it?
I've heard the temp settings will be off, but everything else should be fine.
I'm not worried so much about accurate temp settings, more just sick of dry hits lol

Do you know if the Snow Wolf does titanium or just nickel?

The 2 metals react a bit differently. Temp control is done by measuring the resistance of the wire when heated, as they don't react quite the same using ti on an ni only device will not be "accurate" However that being said there are people that do it and state that it is OK to do so and works, it's a case of close enough.

Personally I prefer to use a ti sensing device.
Have a read of the linked thread.
