    Is there a Temperature Vs Wattage chart

    Im thinking about trying temp control. I want to do some research on it first to see if its worthwhile spending my money on it.

    The istick 40W product page says;

    0.05-1ohm (TC mode)
    0.15-3.5ohm (VW mode)

    I tried sub-ohming and it wasnt for me. If TC mode is mainly for sub-ohming, is there really any point in trying TC vaping?

    Is there a Chart similar to the voltage vs wattage chart that could give me some idea of what temperature would most likely give me my preferred vape?

    TC is definitely not the same as sub ohming. The restistances are subohm but the vape is totally different.

    I don't know of any chart but I'll give you my experience. I used to have my subtank mini rba with a 1.2ohm coil @ 15w. I get similar temp but better flavoured more consistent vape with a .30ohm titanium build @ 160C. I'm a mouth to lung vaper.

    excellent. thanks. TC is looking positive now, especially if you say you're a mouth to lung vaper.

    Did you ever sub-ohm vape? What was your experience?

    I did, I used the .5 ohm subtank and .5 ohm ego one coils as well and just didn't do it for me. I didn't like having to lung inhale and the flavour was lacking by having to do that.

    Exactly my experience. Thanks.

    Definitely considering TC.

    You say you use a titanium build. How does that compare to Ni200?

    Hard to compare as I have titanium in my subtank and ni in my lemo 2 but they are different vapes and I'm not happy with my ni build. I've used the ni premade coils in my subtank and was underwhelmed to say the least.

    But from what I've read they are similar but ni can have a little strange taste for the first half tank (I didn't get that though).
