    charger help! charger cable specs

    Hi all

Ive purchased a nitecore d4 charger from a local vendor and the charger cable they provided me seem to have an international cable. Which means that my cable requires a converter which sits really loose. I have a similar cable for my camera which i can use but it has different specs as read on the cable itself.

    Nitecore: 7a 125w
    camera: 2.5 a 250w

The camera one does not require a converter and so far it is working with 1 bat installed.

My question is. What am I risking if i use the camera one?
Conventional wisdom would say that i should use what was given but does it matter?

From memory, that charger supplies 2 banks @ 1A, so 2A in total (check the specs though, I am hazy). If that is correct, the draw is under the 2.5A 250W limit of the camera cable.

I've just checked the back of my D4, and it says the input is .35 amps max. So yes pretty much any standard figure 8 cable would be fine.

Output is .75 by 2 gtadmin
