    Select Ti or Ni mode when using SS

    What mode do I select when using stainless steel if my TC Mod only has Titanium and Nickel200 options?

    While Stainless Steel resistance is closer to Titanium grade 1 than Nickel200. I'm unsure what to select because a Temp Control Mod works with the resistance change of coil in relation to temperature.

    So is stainless steel resistance in relation to temp change closer to Nickel200 or Titanium grade 1.

    The eVic VTC only has Ni or Ti options(modes)

    18-8 SS (≈ 0.001) is closer to Ti (≈ 0.003) than Ni (≈ 0.006) per Ness Engineering Tech Data - Metal / Alloy Resistivity.

    I googled with some extra search terms from the info you gave and finally got some detailed info. (I have an Infinite DNA mod that allows changing the Temperature Coefficient)

    I use a non TC mod for SS.
    For a .62ohm coil, I set it between 35 and 40w.
