    Cross Compatible Coils n Tanks

I thought maybe anyone in the know could add some knowledge to this thread to help both new n old vapers. ( I cant, so hence the thread). Its a mine field now of new coils and tanks and Im sure a lot of us would like to mix n match but dont want to keep forking out unnecessarily.
Get posting folks, lets take it full force to all this *Proprietary this n that*.

This might be a silly question, but has anyone tried putting Herakles coils in a triton? I want to try it and google is offering different answers. Some are saying aspire coils can go in the Herakles but not visa versa.

I don't think they fit because the Aspire coils have a threading at the top which is needed to fit the Triton. The Aspire coils fit the Herakles because the threading doesn't make a difference. So there are a lot of tanks which will take Aspire Triton/Atlantis coils but their non threaded coils won't fit the other way.

Yes you can, I know one Steam employee who has done it, reasoning being the top airflow etc on the triton allows him to run the herakles coil at bonkers watts without the heat penalty on his gob...

That's my recollection from a visit not too long ago, you can always shoot Max and the gang at Steam an email to confirm I haven't lost my marbles

Thanks everyone. Still couldn't find any concrete information, but realized I needed coils for my usual setup(s), so bought from vapestreet which sells coils individually rather than in packs of 5. Threw a couple Herakles coils in the basket and will try for myself.

This morning I got the Egrip working with BVC coils.

I have Aspire BVC (non nautilus) coils in the following

Billet box with a billet bridge
Carto tanks with a vapeprod adapter,
EGrip with the pin changeover trick
Anyvape davide, cero, genitanks with straight coils.
    K1 tank with straight coils.
Silo lite tank (too heavy for me)

    So many options

    They will also fit
Kabuki (which I don't own yet)
