I ended up going all out and getting the efest 6 bay one locally. If you want a cheap but reasonably reliable one that can charge 3 or 4 batteries fast (1A x 4 charging), I would go for this one (Soshine SC-H4) - https://www.fasttech.com/product/1790300

Hey mate, I recently upgraded from the nitecore i2 to the i4... no issues with nitrecore so thought id just buy the 4 slot version.

I read somewhere that when you have 4 batteries in the i4 it doesnt charge as fast as other 4 slot chargers, however I like to charge my batteries on slow charge, for some reason i feel they tend to last longer than charging them quickly.

I've had a Nitecore i4 (?) and while a reasonable charger it did crap out on me after 2 years. I went looking for another and wound up at Supersport600 on ebay.
I'm really pleased with the Soshine SC-H4 universal LCD battery charger. 1 amp per bay.
Charges a pair of AW 16340 RCR 123 As in an hour.

I have the efest luc 2 and 4 bay charger. Both have been good. The 4 comes with car and house charger, USB output and can change charging rates from .5, 1 and 2.

Many thanks for the speedy recommendations everyone! I'm pretty much in between Soshine SC4 and XTAR VC4. According to the comments on FT, XTAR is more popular and FT doesn't state anything about the authenticity of the Soshine. Should I go with the XTAR?

Cheers guys, I think I'm gonna go with the XTAR. 4.9/5 rating on FT. And with the xmas code, comes down to $31. Also chucked in 6x LG HG2s in there. (To go with Reuleaux DNA200 and RX200), I'm all set! Now to wait 9 business days with the expedited shipping option.
