    Rose V2 head scratching exercise.

Today the PC tank on the Rose failed. It's happened to my ExProm, it happens to KFs..just a fact of life...

What's frustrating is the steel section has a different thread and won't screw on more than a quarter turn!?!?
This is one tank Id hate to have go down. Rather reliant on it.

Bummer. Have you used the steel section before? Doesn't sound right.

Sounds like you have a steel tank from another device...or try turning it the other way and see if that solves it

Nope, wanton didn't have it in the first package and later sent it.

I can improvise as I have a clone and the PC tank fits. The steel section doesn't fit the clone either.

    Now here comes the riddle.
    I have:
A Rose V2-S and a Rose V-S clone that fits one another, neither came with a steel section,
Then a Rose V2-S steel section that doesn't fit either atties.

Kinda like a thought experiment here.

Now, seeing this tank is something I use daily, I'll get one straight from Eden Mods once their store is back online and we'll see what fits what!

That tank section looks too short/narrow.

The threads are just wrong, it goes a quarter turn then seizes.

There was a plastic tank section on FT that fits the Rose - I have one that I use often... I'll see if I can dig up the product code or link...

    Here it is:

Fits standard, non stumpy Rose v2

That's what I mean. It looks like the wrong tank section.
