    Drip tip O rings.

Those in the know. Can you please let me know what size I need and where to get 'em? I know Fasttech would have them but that site is a minefield. Save me a big trawl and buying the wrong bloody ones. Gonna have a go at making some DT's. Thank you in advance!

    You want 9mm OD O-rings.

The inside diameter is up to you - you've probably noticed that the thickness of the O-rings is up to you, but generally the thinner O-rings require more precision to cut the groove for.

    9mm x 6mm (OD x ID) is a an O-ring that is 1.5mm thick :

    9mm x 7mm (1mm)

I have some 9mm x 5mm too, and they are the replacements for a lot of my SS driptips. I'll see if I can track those ones down.

I just can't find the 9*5mm O-rings on Fasttech any more. At one point that was about all they had.

Let me know if you want a few, I have more than I can use.

Best to measure what you need and just search for that size, not all 510 driptips have the same o ring sizes and some are round section while others often these days are flat.

edit: eg I just measured a couple I know are different, ones 9mm, the other 8.7mm and one 8mm but that has a flat section, thickness among these 3 is 1mm, the other 1.3mm and the flat one is .65mm. Often you get away with something long as it's a close fit other times there's just no room for a larger size.

Every mighty oak tree started life out just as some crazy nut trying to hold it's ground!
