    Newbie. Buying hardware separately. Questions

    G'day,

I decided to buy hardware separately. Could you please check if I got everything right and compatibility of elements?

    I need:
    1. Battery. I decided to buy a VW Box mode. Things to consider thread (usually 510), resistance. What else?
    2. Clearomizer. Buying a sub-ohm tank. How resistance of clearomizer and box mode should be consistent?
    3. Batteries as per Box mode instructions.
    4. Charger. USB or any other charger?
    6. E-juice. Haven't got to this point yet.

What are good websites where I can order this stuff? I found fasttech.com. Anything else?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Why not buy a kit from a reputable shop here? You don't need to go direct to sub ohm. Most shops will have all you need except nicotine

    1) VW box would be best since it's future proof and also you can pretty much use most resistance ranges
    2) Tanks: best to figure out what kind of vape you're after, whether it's flavour chaser, cloud chaser, Mouth to lung like a ciggie or a direct lung hit for more vapour, before trying to find a tank. Most tanks out there nowadays do one or the other, not many have the option to comfortably do both
    3) Stick with reputable brands like Samsung, LG, or Sony and go for high drain ones
    4) Charging through USB or through the mod doesn't really fully power the batteries. Wall chargers are best
    5) If you need nicotine juice you's need to mix it yourself or order from overseas

Most clearos nowadays are really made for direct lung.

If you're looking for MTL, check out the Kayfun Mini V3, but with that you'd need to build your own coils

Here are 3 good kits to consider

Endura T22 kit very simple and a great starter kit the only downside is its not variable watts but this is a great MTL setup

Joytech egrip 2 this is an all in one device and can do variable watts and temp control

There is what some consider downside to the 2 above they are both built in batteries so if they run out you have no mod until they are recharged

eleaf Pico/ melo3 kit this has a replaceable battery and can be used as mtl and direct lung. It also comes as a 2ml or 4ml atomizer kit so you have a choice of tank capacity. another advantage of the melo3 tank is can use any Atlantis style coils so they are easy to get, I use mine with vaporesso ccell coild and the taste is fantastic.

+1 for the eleaf pico/melo 3 kit. Great little combo. 4ml tank is the go.

    $32.33 - Authentic Eleaf iStick Pico 4ML 75W Starter Kit - Silver - Cigabuy

You can get them separately from Fasttech as well, not sure which would be cheaper.
