Rebuilding Nautilus coils seems to be the efficient way to go about it. Thanks.

ChrissX how do you rebuild the Nautilus coils? I've tried doing some vertical coils but I haven't got as good a vape as I do from the bought ones. Mind you I do very manly 3.5 sec vapes DL:-)

I do horizontal coils with a surround of 400 SS mesh. Same principal as the BVC non nautilus coils

This is the pics for the BVC coils while I go find where I put the nautilus pics. The only difference is how to get off the casing.

I followed this video but please don't do what he does with the drill bit (as a punch) I made a punch and used two sockets to close the case rather than the clamp.

Thanks Criss that makes it a lot clearer, I was trying to rebuild leaving the inner sleeve in no wonder it wasn't very good. I will have to find the bits to get the inner sleeve out as that makes it a lot easier.

This is what I use. The 5/16" socket, the punch and a meat mallet to smack it with

The punch needs to be small enough to fit inside the inner case but big enough to sit in the inside ledge of the inner case.

Mallee built some vertical coils so maybe he will chime in. I just prefer horizontal for my vaping style.

Thanks again ChrissX that's really clear now. Once that inner sleeve is out I'm more confident of getting a good coil out of it. Thanks for finding these photo's:-)

I'm using a Plato & a Kabuki tank so I need the Nautilus coils. I also like short & fat (22mm) attys & the Kayfun mini is skinny (19mm) & tall:-)
