    Griffin 25 thoughts?

    Hi All,

Looking at getting a new RTA to pair up with the new Wismec Rx2/3.

So far the Avo 24 Jenny style and Griffin 25 has got my attention!

Im currently running a old Joyetech evic 60w with an Atlantis and Kanger mini

    Hi Psy,

    Havent tried the Griffin 25.
But i'm a fairly new vaper and the avocado 24 was my first rebuildable (not counting the kanger i used for a month that i did not rebuild myself).
In my experience, the avo 24 is a really easy tank to build and wick with.
Of course, i havent done crazy builds, just contact and spaced horizontal SS 316 builds.
So if simple and ease of use is what you want, this tank is great.
Pretty sure others who have tried both can give you a better indication though.

    Hey max,

Well ill collect them all eventually as i hear good news about both tanks. Was thinking the Griffin as I already have a Jenny style tank - Theorem.

Just felt the urge to add something else to my cart

I just wicked my griffin for the first time. I think I actually prefer it over my avocado 24.
Avocado is a pain in the arse with the wicks. When the tank gets half empty, you got to fill it up again to wick both sides. (if using dual coils)

I suggest waiting on the griffin plus. Geekvape just released plus versions of the griffin and tsunami.

The Eagle would be a good alternative to the griffin 25. Comes with 2 build decks (single and dual), plus those are pre-built and rewickable too so definitely better than the griffin in that sense (replaceable AND rebuildable coil heads rather than just an RTA with no option for replacing coils

I had a Griffin 25 arrive today. (top air flow version)

From a nOOB perspective on building its been well behaved so far. I had some prewound clapton coils here I installed easily in a dual build, got a final reading of 0.45 ohms which is where I wanted to be roughly. I have wicked it successfully, with only the tinest amount of leaking from the air-holes after refilling. I mean, just enough to show on your finger, that you can wipe off in a second, not lakes of juice

Performance wise its been great, good flavour, good vaper at around 38watts. I was pretty convinced I'd be sticking with my Aspire Cleito for some time but the Griffin 25 has been getting used all day. Enough so I want to keep using it on a daily basis. Its been very easy for me to use.

I'm going leave these coils in for a while and experiment with different cotton.
