Ready to vape subohm tank recommendation please?

Heya I am planning a gift basket for someone but would like to throw in a subohm tank of some kind (they dont rebuild but are otherwise a seasoned vaper) Problem is I am not up to date with latest and greatest

Things I am looking for is tough... thier mod gets thrown in bags.. little chance of leaking even when treated roughly .. easy to fill... not too airy and coils that are easily availible and not overly expensive

(Think less delicate carto tank on steroids)

Any and all suggestions would be very appreciated and thanks in advance -

Am kinda sick of fidgetting with thier Orings and giving lectures on how to look after a tank

"How do you know Iím mad?" said Alice.

If the coils aren't too expensive for your budget my personal recommendation is the Aspire Cleito.

Top fill, never leaked on me using stock coils, blows big arse clouds and great flavour.

they never sold well and are hard to find.
OBS T-VCT ,its not the prettiest thing in the world.
But old hoofy doesn't need pretty, hoofy needs a tank that likes it dirty and rough

Coils came in 0.5/0.25 kanthal at launch, big cylon holes, the with SS/NI later.
Its a big honking tub of steel with a smaller glass window, it can take a hit within reason.

It been my daily driver for over a year now and hasn't skipped a beat.

    Hard go past kanger subtanks

The new top tank is top fill. Silcone rings make it take a knock or two.
    4.5ml capacity on the mini.
    Parts and coils easily available.
Good flavor. Good clouds. Not super thirsty.

Subtank minis. Vertical OCC coils (square ones) work well and don't leak. Three settings for AFC. The tightest works for MTL for me. Cheap replacement parts, including authentic glass and o-rings. Comes with an RBA section so that's an option for the future.

Aftermarket parts are also available including bell caps and AFC bases (a complete clone atty for less than AU$10 IOW).

Basically, pretty hard to go past for a good budget vape. The glass can be broken but it's pretty rugged. Luck of the draw (or bad luck) really, same as all the glass tanks. If I was still welding I'd probably have one of the PC bell tanks for a work beater.

I can't see the vertical OCC coils working on a beater mech because the ideal resistance would be 0.7 or 0.8 ohms, which isn't available. Regulated mod would be best, at 16 to 22 watts (in my opinion). 1.2 ohm coils for MTL, 0.5 ohm for DL.
