    Battery suggestions

I used to always get passthrough batteries (usually ego). But I haven't been able to find any lately.
So I decided to get a Vision Spinner 1300.

Unfortunately, I do not like batteries where you plug the charger into the top of the battery (i.e where the cartridge or tank or whatever usually goes).
This is only the second time I've got one of these type of batteries ... and just like the first time, I'm having problems with it. The light on the charger stays green despite the battery not being fully charged, and then the battery itself won't fire. The pin that the charger screws onto seems to be wobbly.

Can anybody please advise what type of batteries (whether passthrough or not) that either charge by plugging charger into the bottom/base of the battery, or the side of the battery ... because the ones that screw onto the top seem hopeless

So you are looking for a ego style, 14 to 18 mm battery?
If you can give us a heads up on which city you are in,
we can point you to your nearest brick & mortar type shop.
There they can sort this for you face to face.
You just need to put a general location in your profile

Yeah I'm talking the standard ego 510 type batteries like Snidely mentioned. I guess they are what are considered a beginner battery ... but they are all I've ever used. I have no idea about mods i.e. what I need / how they work type thing.

I live in Central Qld, near Gladstone (is probably nearest town), but I will be going down to Brisbane for a couple of days this month.
