    Provari E1 error issues

    Hi all!

My fave provari mini keeps giving me the E1 error. I've tried with lots of different atties, as well as different batteries, cleaning contact points, and different end caps. No dice.

Does anyone know of a fix?

Does it give an E1 error when there is no Atty on it?

If yes, look to see if there is some metal debris in the 510 that is shorting it out. Inspect the centre pin on the Provari to make sure it's not pushed in.
If no, try an atty with a really long centre pin (as for a hybrid).

I used the clean the centre pin on mine with a cotton bud and a tiny bit of polish like Autosol and then clean off with iso. The same with the pin for the positive battery terminal.

If that doesn't work check the wiring to the top cap, it is just a press fit and you can pop it out from the inside to check it easily enough.

Lucky you mentioned it coz I never would have thought to check, as I don't change the voltage from 3.8v ever.

I'm glad he put it up to 6v and the thing wouldn't fire, now he'll think my Provaris are duds and won't want to pinch them again
