    TCR value of these coils.

I have a couple of these type of tanks with .5ohm coils, was hoping to use them with a Vaperesso Target mini. Only issue is I don't know what type of metal the coils use, so therefore I am unable to work out the TCR setting. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions.

    TCR value of these coils.

So I am guessing my best bet is to run them in Watt mode, starting low and working my way up till I get the desired result.

The tank casing doesn't have any markings on them.

Hi Hobbysdownunder, I have a target mini tank at the moment. What brand are those coils?

If you want tc I would reccomend going to a store and talking to someone about it, you never know they might give you a coil to try first (the vaping community is filled with generous people).

I think also you should head to the new members forum and drop an intro/ add your location in your bio.. you never know someone near you might have a spare coil

The coils are unbranded, from china. They came with the Sub Two tanks and a generic mod (Sub Star Mini) which I have been using as my secondary vape to my original purchase, an Ego One.

I would just use them as wattage

They wont be ni200 and if they are stainless it wont matter.

Also the tank looks a lot like a kanga subtank and the coils do resemble kanga coils

If you get a chance try and fit a kanga ssocc coil in there if it fits it will save you a lot of the trouble unbranded ones and you can buy the exact coils type you want

The thread looks too big for Kanga top/subtanks. SSOCC coils have a thread that is about 6mm.

ETA: course, the head could be way smaller all round than it looks - check the thread diameter, that should tell you. Pictures I've seen, the wire in the vertical coil looks shiny like SS, but there's very little information out there.

You could try it with a *very* low TCR, like 1. If it produces any vapour at all then it's probably Kanthal. ss 316 should work properly at around a TCR of 92/93.
