Has anyone fiddled with their Pico?

    Heheheh hi everyone!

I have just been looking online for some workarounds for fitting a >22mm atty on the not-dual Picos. I've seen one dude file down one side of the battery cap so he could fit a 24mm atty on it (has to take off atty before removing battery cap of course), plus lots of people using a 22mm heat sink to raise the 510 connection to the level of the battery cap.

Just wondering if anyone here has tried any hacks?

I delight in the way you worded that title, as you know I would :P

    Ducky,
I have a pico and recently bought a 510 heatsink for it so I can put a >22mm tank on it.
Have not tried it. I'm still stuck at work so when I get home ill test it out for you and upload some pics if you want.

If I seriously wanted a flat top Pico I'd holesaw the guts out of the batt cap, cut the thread off and braze the cut out inside the thread, then I would put a slot in it for easy removal / fitting when changing the battery. then I'd take the base off the body and fit a spacer to extend the overall height of the Pico to accommodate the battery. I would end up with a custom flat top pico in less than an hour. the overhang would still drive me crazy though.
