    AW IMR Batts - fake?

I know there's an existing thread on this from sometime ago but I've recently bought a pair of AW IMR advertised as 1200mAh but what I got look quite different and are rated as 1100mAh. As these fakes or has AW revised these? The AW sticker is just black/white (no holograms) and there's no "triangle" on the oval.

    As advertised, vs received:

hmm ok.. Even then, advertising as 1200mAh and sending out lesser capacity (without any notification) is misleading.

That's why I'm not trusting these, also the logo lacks the small triangle, which I believe authentics do.

If i remember correctly AW changed their sticker and ratings for their batteries in about 2015 (?). The original AW 18490's were 1100mah, then upgraded to 1200mah when the newer stickers came out. You may have just got some older stock. I'll check my older 18490's when I get home, I've still got a few of the new and old ones.

Victory Vape have both of those. The one with the black hologram sticker they have for $15 and the one with the mostly silver sticker and 15C rating for $23 - which is labelled 1200mAh but they describe it as 1100mAh.

I'm also thinking old/new stock. The button top with two holes looks correct.
