    Best battery for mechanical mods

My apologies for starting yet another battery thread, I have spent some time learning about batteries today, including looking at Mooch's threads and searching here and I am on information overload.

I am paranoid about safety and would like to know what would be the best battery to buy for the Nemesis mod I just got as well as the Coppervape BF that's hopefully coming any day now.

    Many thanks in advance...

What resistance will you be running?

Samsung 30q are good down to 0.21ohm, and 3000 mah. Also famed for long lifespan, unlike vtc6 which by reports suffer after 200 charge cycles.

South of 0.2, look into LG HB6. They are only 1500mah but will get you lower.

Thanks Doggie I didn't know that, I bought a couple of VTC 6s for my Therion.

I think I will be running around .8, though I'm still playing around while trying out different wires, builds and tanks...

I just got two new Samsung 30Q's for my Dog Box. If you are not going silly low with your builds they will give you the best life all round. A super battery. INR chemistry so extremely safe batteries too.

Thanks Jake and Fab. Most of my batteries are Samsung 30Q's...

they also sag less than others, see below mooch test

cat, look for the low points in the pulses

and over time, the samsungs hold up better, so the gap increases

you won't be pushing yours this hard, so you'll get more like 3.7 or 3.8 to the coil

.8 build be pulling around 5amps, be safe with almost anything out there, go for the 30Q or HG2, Both batteries would be safe up to around a .2 build
