*caution needed on geekvape mech Pro!*

Hey guys, I was going to do a review on the mech Pro by geekvape but doesn't look that way :/
About a month ago I bought the Medusa rda and loved it. I've always wanted a parrellel mod but could never afford it then I saw the mech Pro/Medusa kit. Thought I'd treat myself for making it past my bday smoke free.
I got it and worked fantastic with 0.13 claptons. Switch was smooth and hit like a frieght train. Over the past 4 days the switch started to get crunchy and stick a little bit sadly there's no way to disassemble to clean it. This morning a had a mild heart attack, the button got stuck and auto fired and with that low of a build it's somthing you really DON'T want. After quickly pulling out the batteries I hit the mod against my palm and the button came unstuck, so thinking it was a fluke I placed the batteries back in, took 2 toots and got stuck again firing away. Only had it for 12 days and now have become terrified to use it and can only imagine forgetting to lock the switch and having it auto firie in a pocket.
The Medusa rda works great and happy to have two but the mod I can't recommend. After watching grimmgreens Tuesday bro Tuesday video he had the same issue with the button sticking but not auto firing (yet)
I love the feel of a parrellel mod so I might replace it with the NC 2/25.
It wouldn't be a issue if you could clean it but since there's no way to do so it will now be gathering dust on a shelf.

    Cheers guys

Failing that, give it an IPA bath and then some WD40. It's not a great solution but as long as it's not actually broken, it should work. I'd go with the defect/warranty if you can though, even if it's China and is going to take an age, it's not going anywhere right?

Oh wow... I've been a vaper and builder for years but still won't go near a hybrid.

My first look into Mechs is my Noisy Cricket 2, and now I'm waiting on my Broadside to come.

Thanks guys, I bought it from ve so I might try them. I've had a few faulty products and they resolve the issue quit quickly.
I'm just hoping it's just mine that's dogy because it was a great mod for the time I used it.

It's a mech box mod with a standard 510. I'm not fan of hybrids. my first mech was a noisy cricket one then a smpl mod but I much prefer parrellel mods nowadays.

Cheers fab for the tip, I found some CRC 2-26 spray and iso I use for removing labels and doused the switch in both repeatedly pressing it to work it all in. It's not perfect but a hell of alot better.

You might want to look into swapping out the button for a mosfet button.
    Not strictly mechanical, but almost.

That's a good idea but the button can't be removed and the connection for positive/ negative also the 510 rely on the mechanical switch to be spring loaded.
