Miniscule O rings Where is the best place to get them?

I'm wondering if hardware stores carry tiny O Rings or if you have to order them online?

Advice would be appreciated, thanks very much.

    What actual sizes?

Last time I wanted o-rings, the local bearing place was where I got them. I'd call the local one of them, or the local bolt shop OR the local hose/fittings place. Industrial type, not a hardware store unless you have an old-school one that has that 'smell' to it.

If they don't have them, they'll know where to get them.

You'll need to know inside diameter, outside diameter and what material you want them in. If it's for vaping gear, silicone. I'm not sure anything else would be suitable for vaping bits, says I who has a viton o-ring on my Ammit tank, because the original ones compress too much and have some more on order from HC...

(I can buy them here, but a pack of 3 costs 3 times as much as a pack of 10 from HC...)

Thank you, especially for your detailed response Stu It's so tiny it's going to be difficult to measure..

How mini are you looking for?
I got some of these to replace an o ring for my old kayfun clone that started leaking out of the 510.
Unscrewed the pin and then put one of these in to seal

Cat, if you can tell us what O ring you're looking for it might help.
eg the o ring that goes round the fill screw on an xxxx tank.
Lot's of us have old or unused gear and happy to share but unless we've got a reference point it's kinda point and shoot.
I bought a mixed o ring kit from Bunnings a long time back that had everything from 510 sized up but if you're talking smaller you'll need to hit up the RC hobby shops or specialists
