    Best RDA for alien coils?

    Hi there.

I have a gorgeous pair of alien coils which Gandalf sent me, along with two beautiful RDAs. I also have the Skywalker RDA.

Wondering... given my current devices - a Halo Reactor and an iStick, both of which tap out at 80w... should I put the aliens in a flavour RDA like the Petri, or the Skywalker with its huge airflow?

    Theres a 3rd option

Put your coil porn on some concrete, sprinkle some thermite on top and light it, that will get rid of them

Its starting to occur to me thats not quite the advice you were hoping for

Sorry cant actually help you with that one, i dont use RDA's

I would assume (prolly incorrectly) with dual coils (which i dont use either - im super relevant in this thread), more airflow would be the best option though

Why do kiddies say "tap out at 80w" like theyre disappointed it dont go higher :P

It depends on what they ohm out at and need to fire at. If you have a single coil option in an RDA then you maybe only use one and try that?

I was going to send u a whole roll of fused clapton wire but then thought adding the weight might sting me with the postage lol next time i decide to pif something to you il send it anyway either should be fine but wondering if 80w is even enough for them. U could unwrap them and make them smaller

    Here's my thinking...

The Petri requires lower wattage on the same build as the Skywalker, to deliver similar results... perhaps even better results.

As such, wouldn't it make sense to drop the aliens into the Petri, given my wattage limitations? Or do they really need wide open air to work properly?

A single coil atomizer yes. You could take a wrap off if that helps fire it in your wattage range.

OK... wicked and juiced, the aliens come in at 0.29 on the Skywalker. Firing at 80w... phenomenal taste and vapour!

I'd use them , as suggested , on a single coil rda. Duals with aliens will have a slow ramp up, and thus need more power. I run dual aliens in one of my rdta's at around 120-130w for good vaping. I have another set, 3mm and I removed a wrap , so 4 wraps and they are nice and warm around 110w.
