How do you fix the air flow on a Vivi Nova?

The bottom of my vivi novas sits almost flush with the Provari connection. As a result, the draw is very tight. Is there any adapter which I can fit between the nova and the provari to better air flow into the tank? I've tried loosening it a little, but then the tank kind of swivels, and it doesn't improve the air flow that much.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Hi marty

I dont have the trouble you are having with the Nova?? I have a good handfull of these and they all have a slightly protruding center pin, and two airflow holes around the circumference of the bottom knurled section. The result is that on the Provari, and all other mods, I am able to tighten down and secure the tanks. The images might explain it better. Do you have the air flow holes? If so they can only be blocked, if you have no flow.

There are two versions of the vivi nova ... if yours is a V2 like in Robrays pics above , then it should be no probs , sounds like yours are v1's which have the airholes on the centre pin under the base plate?

If all else fails , you can use a 510 to 510 or a 510-ego adapter and it will raise the whole shebang about 5-7mm ...
    examples

    Miscellaneous - 510-eGo Adaptor - JuiceWhore E-Liquid E-Juice
    EcigModShop Australia - 510 to 510 Adapter/Extender

only drawback is it leaves the whole thing a little vulnerable if you drop things a lot lol

I have just tried blocking the air holes and even though there is a gap between the tank base and the Provari cap, the airflow was stopped, so the airflow is definitely via these holes. I am almost certain my tanks are genuine.

Yup can see the difference. Strange I never had an airflow issue with the V1 on the Provari. Must be too old to screw them down hard!!! I still have a few of them around. Cant remember why I stopped using them. Maybe wrong resistance or something, but not air flow.

I had that trouble too, if I screwed it on tightly it would block the airflow.
I cut a U shape from a plastic card and put on the 510 connector, you could also use a washer.

    Good morning too guys
