    Is my provari safe enough?

What do you make of this video? Some people are calling it racist, and I think it is. Exploding batteries are my major concern. I use a Provari with the standard red AW 3.7V batteries. Is Vapesafe necessary for a Provari? Should I get one just in case?

the provari is probably one of the safest and time tested mods. I have hardly (i would go as far to say never) heard of any issues with the provari unless is it software related with the errors (and that was mainly on the V1's)

Vapesafe fuse (the 2cent fuse if that is what you are refering to) is not needed IMO as the provari has built in protection.

Good luck fitting one in the ProVari anyway!

The ProVari has more safety features than the Vape Safe. I dare say the ProVari would catch a short before the Vape safe fuse had a chance to blow.

I'd say provari is safe enough. I kind of see those 2c vape safe things as exactly that. Worth 2c nothing more.

thats the most blatant scaremongering piece of crap video it has EVER been my misfortune to watch.
vapesafe is a 50c bit of junk to start with, the active protection circuit in a cell is far more effective, faster and lower resistance solution for the paranoid and safety conscience anyway.
that concerned .. use a protected cell.
disparaging an entire race for the purposes of selling your overpriced low tech bit of junk is an insult.

How does that work? I would of assumed that the larger the battery the more capacity it holds making it more dangerous if it were to explode or something.

two ways to mistreat a battery, physical or electrical.
physically a larger battery is capable of higher loads.
electrically its harder o short circuit it with a decent enough short to cause a problem, once shorted its much higher thermal mass makes it less likely to rise to a dangerous temperature before its noticed or melts the short causing it a problem. you have much longer to remove the short. it has longer to melt it.
so yes, chemically it stores more energy, but its much much more difficult to abuse.

i think every cell failure i have heard of with ecigs has been ego sized or 16340.

That video is garbage. Full of lies too, China is not the only manufacturer of Li-Ion batts. the best ones come from Japan manufacture.
