Non heat conducting adapter for 510?

I use boge cartos on ego twist usually. Ive noticed the batteries get really hot as i chain vape. I think the heat is mainly radiating through from the carto down into the battery. It freaks me out a bit, hot batteries can explode I think. I get this problem when using a plastic tank. When using a metal tank it is not so noticeable as I think the tank acts like a heat sink. I was wondering if theres like a non heat conductive spacer type adapter to put between cato and battery to stop battery getting hot.

    Thanks

I haven't come across anything such as this how hot is it getting? I notice Argo tanks do get a little hot when I chain vape but never really hot enough to worry.

"hot batteries exploding" is when they get so how that you can't touch the tube. I wouldn't worry about the heat being dumped into the mod itself, batteries operating temps taper out around the 65C mark i believe/recall, you'd well and truly know that your mod/ego is at 65c!

i noticed the ego twists get freaking hot too, as the monger said though, if you can still hold it, its within spec.
there is always an option of chucking it on a 510-510 adapter, better off getting something bigger ultimately, you must go through a few a day surely at high watts ?

He's worried about the battery getting hot not his drip tip... although i suppose if the battery is furhter away from the face could be a good thing, but then again mobile phones get hot as hell and people don't worry so much about that...........

Anything you use as a spacer is going to be made of metal, which will conduct heat. A long(there are some that are carto length) 510-510 adapter, longer = more surface area for heat to travel & cool, is probably the best option for what you want to achieve but do you really want to make your PV look that long?

I suppose the blaring question is, what ohm carto are you using on that thing that would make the battery heat up that much and at what voltage your running it at.
