Ego-t battery - concerns with the light

    Hi all,

Hoping that someone can shed some light on this. The bright white light on my Ego battery has now changed to a yellow light. This happened today and I have no idea how / why.

    Has anyone experienced something similar?

    Thanks in advance

If it's an eGo Upgrade battery (and it sounds like it) that's an indication you have changed the battery's mode. Should now be producing more vapour?

    Changing modes

To swap between the 2 modes just follow these steps.

    1. Activate the 5 click button protection function by pressing the button 5 times within 2 seconds.
The button LED will blink white 3 times in 3.3v and orange in 4.15-3.6v

    2. Once your battery is locked hold the button for 5 seconds. Once the mode has been changed the button LED will blink 3 times.
The button LED will blink to white when changed to 3.3v and orange when changed to 4.15-3.6v

    3. Deactivate the 5 click button protection by again pressing the button 5 times within 2 secs.

    4. Vape away!

Well would you look at that!!

I had no idea that I could change the voltage on this ego. I thought I purchased another standard 650mah Ego-t. I've had this battery for like two weeks! Haha

I had seriously thought that some of my juice must've got into the light area and changed the colour that the led was displaying!

    Thanks heaps

GC, I run my eGo's in that mode all the time, but it does depend on the atomiser / cartomiser you are using

I'm using a 2.4ohm stardust so it seems to be a perfect voltage for it. With the 1.8ohm, I'll continue to use my standard ego.
