    Vamo - Charging

    Hi Y'all,

So I got my first cool mod, a Vamo! Just one question, I'm coming from using Joye batteries (Ego-T/C) and have the Joye wall charger with a 510 connection on it.

Will this also charge my Vamo or will I need to purchase something like this:
Soshine SC-S7 Battery Charger | Vapebar

I'm hoping that it can, I'd love to take my Vamo out with me this weekend but am worried about running out of power.

    Thanks in advance!

thats a death warrant for a battery, a vamo or a charger probably.
    absolutely not.

    +1 to what Stoney said.

Buy the soshine charger and couple of spare batteries. If you are using 18650s that will pretty much last you a day.

You need to purchase 18350 or 18650 IMR batteries seperately as well as the Vamo, there's no built in battery.

The charger you have indicated will charge these batteries but won't charge your ego batteries and conversely you cannot charge your Vamo with your ego battery charger.

That charger, while good, will only charge 1 battery at a time. Which isn't a problem if you are only using 1x 18650 or 1x 18350 in your vamo but the vamo can also be used with 2x 18350's & it may be inconvenient for charging 2 batts one after the other.
I would look at SS600's chargers & batts, he ships free & they are all fully tested by him to the highest standards.

    Oh balls!

I assumed I'd be able to and didn't buy a charger... I thought Method 2 from this would work:
How to charge the Joyetech 18650 eGo T Upgrade battery

    I do have a battery for it, I got a Joye 2200mAh Unprotected 18650 Li-ion Battery.

Oh well, looks like I'll use it until it runs out of power then wait until I buy a charger

That's a different option to what people thought you were asking. Yes, that'll work (slowly), a better option is a quality, dedicated charger though.
Ignore the Super-moderator tag in my profile, I have resigned from that position but admin have not updated my profile as yet

Oh okay, I'm not that fussed about how long it'll take - just relieved it wont be out of action when the battery dies. Gotta get a charger and extra battery in my next HC order.

    Thanks guys and girls!

EDIT: Okay, probably could've saved us all a lot of time by trying it myself. It doesn't work. With the shape of the charger I can't screw it in deep enough to make contact. Bugger
