    Getting away from plastic

Small overview..I have tried vaping a couple of times and have now realized why I return to analogues.
I am using an ego-t and often i find I get the foul taste of burnt plastic.
time to move away from plastic.
I really need a tank system like fill a bottle plug it in and vape away with no chance of getting foul plastic taste.
Things seem to have really improved in mods and stuff.

I was going to visit vaping cobra not far from me but it seems the only have ego stuff.

    Any recommendations please?

Keep the ego batteries, ditch the tank atomiser system and try a vivi nova with a low resistance coil. That burnt plastic taste is dry hits from what I believe to be a flawed system. Check out Vapeking for the vivi nova. Other places sell them too.

Vaping Cobra is near you; that's fantastic! You can go in and discuss it and get them to show you how to make a clearomiser work properly. Gotta keep the wick wet, that's all. Bring your batts, for a few dollars and a few minutes you should be up and running in no time.

I have trimmed off the plastic bit from the hole the wick makes but eventually the burnt taste returns

Tanks without a wick having to pierce plastic or touch plastic is ideal..Heat + Plastic is just as poisonous as the analogues but very unpleasant.

    Thank you for the replies

You could also try the Stardust's and the Kanger T2 & T3's

To build on Chris1972's post, you could get a Vivi Nova Mini. That way it's the same diameter as your ego battery.

Otherwise, try out some cartomisers, see what you think. If you like them you can put a tank on it, so the carto is constantly fed juice, meaning less top up time. Go for the Boge XL LR (Boge Extra Large, Low Resistance).

You can get a tank here:
    Boge Products - Boge F16 Tank - JuiceWhore E-Liquid E-Juice

The carto tank above is designed for specific carto's but it can be used with Boge XL carto's AFAIK.
If you buy them from JuiceWhore, they call them XXL carto's.
Otherwise, here's the link for the Boge F16 carto's that are made for the tank:
    Boge Products - Boge F16 Cartomiser - JuiceWhore E-Liquid E-Juice

And to clean up the look, nice and sleek, you can get a sleeve that goes over the outer eGo threading.
    Miscellaneous - Ego Sleeves - JuiceWhore E-Liquid E-Juice
You would want type D if you go with the tank.

Whatever you do though, if you're sticking with the eGo batteries, buy low resistance stuff.

I will see how it all goes after a visit to vaping cobra.Bugger not open until noon today
Alas via pictures and vids I cannot get a clear idea of what can be used be what and a system suited for me.
I certainly appreciate all the advice..
    I have a starting point.

I beg to differ about low resistance. I find I get more dry hits and burnt taste with low resistance. My sweet spot for non VV batts for most juices is 2.4 ohms. My 1.8's are prone to burnt tastes. On my House of Liquid juices I actually prefer 2.8 ohms on a vivinova with volts put down to 3.2. But maybe I'm just strange.

That ohms and volts thing are way over my head and too old to learn.
I like plug'n'play.Fill a bottle with juice and suck it up..
Had a look at vids of some lavatube bloody hell little screen to adjust everything.
Soon need a degree in electronics to operate an ecig.
Well off and away to vaping cobra..
