Question McGuyver fix Vision Clearo V3

    Howdy all,

Back in Adelaide for work this week, took apart my clearo for the first time and cut through the wick on both sides whilst unscrewing the damn thing...

Dont have any spare heads for it at the moment, so I have pulled apart a facial scrub (cotton pad thing) and made a new wick (have only had this since last wednesday, so still working everything out in my head).

I tried a burn and it didnt light on fire, so that is a good start... Can anyone tell me if this should get me through till Friday when I will have been paid and can pay a visit to Peter at ecig-sa?

    Cheers,
    HighTreazon

As long as you have it well packed into the coil, you may get away with it. Only thing I can see is you said you Burned it????? This will not be good if the wick is dry. It needs to be kept very wet. A few of the guys have used cotton to rebuild with good results.

Yes I read that they were using cotton from medicinal gauze ( some chemists have it)

G'day HighTreazon, yes that will get you through to Friday ... you just got to make sure that you don't let it go dry (as Rob said above) as you certainly will not like a cotton dry hit (and it'll have a tendency to burn also). But cotton wicks as well as if not better than silica.

Don't know whether you're joking or daring us to try margy Used the facial wipes about 8 or 9 months ago when I re-wicked a Comet and it worked okay, but my eyes aren't good enough for the small Comet atty (and I have a few and they're cheap).
