    Kanger T3s: A whinge.

In an act of desperation and madness I bought some T3 heads.
I thought I could revive the Kangers I had been using as carto tools in my tanks. They work bloody well as a carto tool.

I have been able to get a semi-decent vape out of them. My first experience with them was terrible, gurgling, leaking, flooding, and would you believe it? A juice dump. Add to this they wouldn't make contact with my ego battery and I had to pull the contact post down.
    Instant fail in my book.

This time around the heads were pretty decent. I was pleasantly surprised by the vape I was getting from them. Yes, I still had gurgling, yes I still had to blow them out every few hours, and yes, I still got a few dry hits here and there.

This afternoon, it came to my attention that I hate these clearos. They are better than a Stardust imo, but my god. Scratchy dry hit after scratchy dry hit, my throat is raw. If I had thought this was going to be a real big issue, I would have snagged a Vivi Nova head and some cartos instead of buying new untested gear.

I do have 3 more heads to go through, and they will definitely keep me going until I can afford to do a carto order, but how on Earth are Kanger t3s so popular?
I have to assume that the people who swear by them don't know what a proper vape is like. When the T3 works, it works ok. When it starts to constantly scratch my throat, it becomes a carto tool again.
Don't get me wrong, I've had a proper dry hit in a dripping atty, this was one of the worst experiences of my vaping life. T3's dry hitting are not as bad as that hot, metallic, burning, steam cloud of death.

I am hoping my financials start to level out, I am really sick of unreliable gear. I don't mind fiddling to get something "perfect" for my vape experience, but not when I am in a constant state of frustration and discomfort because things just aren't holding up, no matter the amount of fiddling I do.

Here is hoping the VapeOnly bottom coil tank doesn't suck. I should have that tomorrow, we'll see if it remains in one piece or if I pull it apart and jam comet guts into it. Don't ask me why, but I also bought another T3 when I bought the VO. I think it was because I saw purple and went, "Oh this T3 seems to be OK, not too bad. Let's buy another one!"

At this point, I am thinking of jumping to a bottom feeder and a fist full of 306 atties or an RBA as soon as the funds become available.

I just wanted to get that off my chest before I attempt to get my T3s working acceptably.

They are popular because some batches were great but others were rubbish! Gurgling, leaking, airy etc.

Quality control is an issue. Avoid.

Try a vision Vivi nova, comet clearo or an innokin iclear. These are the best clearos on the market and all are available locally from Vapeking.

I have a Vivi Nova (1.8ohm) I scored from VK a little while ago. I found the draw too tight, the flavour was almost not there at all. It sits on my table and does nothing, was thinking of getting a higher res head and trying that out again. I just feel like I throw cash into a black hole sometimes.
I'll toss an iClear into my next VK order. I think I am just over clearos and dodgy QC from China.

I can show u how to improve flavour on the nova.

Many people use them with no problems.

Place the coil in a cup of water and boil in microwave (1:30 roughly) take it out and dry it with paper towel, u can use a hair dryer to make sure it's dry. Now use a blow torch over the wicks, they will glow red and turn white. This takes the 'film' that's on the wicks from factory.

Now put a drip of the juice you're going to use on the coil and screw it all together. Fill with juice and Vape.

Just stick with Comets, sure the juice capacity isn't as good but the vape blows everything else out of the park.
