    Trap Tank question

Got a trap tank last week with the fill hole at the top. Been using a 10ml bottle with needle top.

Every time I fill it it leaks out the bottom.

I've taken the tank of the mod to fill. Maybe a pressure thingy.
I don't know, but it's a pain in the arse.

Using a boges cartomizer. Any ideas?

Kir Tanks are known to be a really tight fit, something like 2kg pressure to separate so leaking .....non issue normally

Tanks fine, it's coming out of the 510 connection, so presuming it's going down the pipe bit in the carto.

It's only happening when filling up. Once I have a clean with some tissues, all good.

Have you used yours with a carto?

I'm thinking the fill hole is so small the needle is blocking any air getting in to relieve pressure.
I can't think of a solution except very tiny needle which I don't have.

I had one, no leaking from the Boge carto's, the bottom ring was loose, do I used a new ring just on the bottom, never had a problem with leakage from the carto's, have you tried a new carto?, if that's not it Mick77 thread might be your best bet.

I'll persist for a couple more days and than try a pre-punched carto.

If it was the bottom ring wouldn't it leak consistently, not just when I fill?

When using carto tanks, I always used to punch a hole in the bottom and a hole in the top like below.
Always used to wick better and eliminate any pressure issues. Sounds like it would help in your case too.

No Mate, Havnt used a carto with it. No the pressure build up could cause it to leak when filling due to pressure build up as you fill. But mine normally after 3/4 full starts to want to push fluid back out the fill hole, i use a syringe not a bottle, so very little similarity. Havnt found where it was mentioned yet but still looking
