Did you let them have a good soak? What voltage are you hitting them at?

Yeah both were well soaked the ohm reading at about 1.8 vaping at 3.7
The tobbacco is good just the menthol is tasting bad

If it was I, (or me) I would drop the volts as low as it will go for the menthol at 1.8ohm.

Things that I have found that make carto's taste burned are either or a combination of : not filled properly, too high a voltage, not big enough hole to wick properly (usually on thick juices), or a dud carto (rare but does happen)

Also its a good idea to start low on the volts and work your way up on a fresh one.

I've had two duds out of my last pack of LR Boges.

Exactly what I would have said.
    Although I haven't used the F16 ones.
    I only use standard Boge.

Boge f16 cartos are notoriously unreliable.

I'm sticking with the syringe method. Get yourself some 1ml insulin syringes and fill using these. The only time I've ever had a burnt carto doing this is when I've had a dud carto or I've been too impatient and started vaping before I could see liquid reach the top (and can blow some excess through).
