Not selling to minors = regulation.

I would rather what we have now than gamble on regulation looking anything like what we want (same as now but nic available in Australia).

Yes and no,I would like a set of standards set on production and not allowing the ingredients that are known to harm you if turned into vapour but,I work in the food industry and we all have a minimum standard that we have to abide by.I would not like a max nic limit of 6-12mg as to me this will be counter productive to make it easier to switch from cigs to vaping

I'm pretty sure a 12 year old can walk into a pharmacy and buy NRT's.

Nicotine patches (Nicabate P, Nicorette, Nicotinell Step 1) for smoking cessation | NPS MedicineWise

Is the Government really concerned about under 18's using e-cigarettes.. or under 18's using e-cigarettes instead of tobacco or other NRT's which are regulated / taxed ?

There's going to be ups and downs regarding regulation remember. The upside will be that e-liquid will be able to be purchased locally. The downside is that we may be forced to buy from pharmacies and have a really small selection of flavours/companies to choose from, and having external imports of any e-liquid held at customs. DIY'ing will be a thing of the past.

Yep, I want to see it legally and widely available in Australia, with regulatory standards to apply to quality, and labeling, same sort of standards that apply to all foods and beverages, and electronic goods. I would also like to see good information about how to use e-juice in e-cigs, and information about how to handle any accidents, same standards that already apply to other poisonous substances.

Just saying, do you want regulation or not, doesn't cover it. I'm all for GOOD regulatory standards, but dead against blanket bans, or medicalising a recreational product.
