    Ancient Vaping Documents

    This was doing the rounds last week and causing a bit of a stir.

    Looks like the FDA put the kibosh on this idea before it could get off the ground.

    I don't know what to make of this link in Bill Godshall's latest update:
    Non-Combustible Cigarettes - "Vaping" (lsl80a99)

    It outlines terms, and practices, and measurements, and conclusions (apart from the last para, which is obviously wrong from our later perspective) that are directly comparable with our knowledge today - but from 1979, more than thirty years before vaping became popular. Normally I'd consider this a clever hoax.

    Apart from the bulk of it, which looked quite normal by today's standards (high readings for cigarette [and ecig] plasma nic levels though, but historically correct-looking), I liked the case of the 149ng/ml nicotine serum measurement - which apparently caused 'faintness'. No doubt.
