Tried listening to the chat on the summit this am and it was very dodgy on my computer but seems to be working OK now

http://www.vapourtrails.tv/?p=7587 ( now that link is not working ? ) will try and find another

They liked Lynne Dawkins presentation who talked about ecigs as 1st 2nd and 3rd Generation especially for those at the summit who knew very little about ecigs
I think mav will be pleased about that
Here are pics from Lynne's presentation

Also Dave Dorn commented on the graph presented by Prof Robert West

    found here

    Which is pretty self explanatory

Finally, the distinction is being acknowledged.

I only wish S1m0n Ch4pman and St4n Gl4ntz were fined every time they conflated the efficacy of cigalikes with 2nd and 3rd gen ecigs.

BBC News - Electronic cigarettes 'could save millions of lives'

    Quote

"Scientists say that if all smokers in the world switched from cigarettes to electronic cigarettes, it could save millions of lives.

But Lynne Dawkins, from the University of East London, said that while light-touch regulation was important, it must be treated with caution.
She said that e-cigarettes presented a "viable safer alternative" to offer to smokers.

"We don't want to spoil this great opportunity we have for overseeing this unprecedented growth and evolving technology that has not been seen before, We have to be careful not to stump that."
