One winning battle in the War (perhaps) :)

Staten Island lawmakers turn thumbs-down on proposal to ban e-cigarettes in public spaces | SILive.com

Councilman-elect Steven Matteo (R-Mid-Island) also does not support the proposal.

"It's a little premature to ban e-cigarettes from public places without strong evidence of its health effects," he said. "What we do know is that they have helped many ex-smokers kick a life-threatening habit. While I am supportive of the cigarette ban, I am not convinced, at this time, that there is substantial evidence that puts e-cigarettes in the same class as cigarettes."

Yes, but unfortunately eGo batteries are not wide enough to cover over a flag.

We can only hope to see common sense like that amongst our policy makers.
WA Cancer Council certainly hasn't got it.
