Harm reduction devices banned... Pot legal ?

Sorry, couldn't get link to work ...this in Sydney Telegraph today ... What on earth is happening ??

...BREKKIE WRAP: AMERICA'S first recreational pot industry has opened in Colorado, kicking off an experiment that will be watched closely around the world and one that activists hope will prove that legalisation is a better alternative than the costly "war on drugs".

Business owners who threw their doors open for shoppers at 8am are hoping the fledgling industry will prove to generate as much revenue as Colorado officials hope. At least 24 pot shops in eight towns scrambled to get ready for the opening, increasing staff and inventory and hiring security.

More than a dozen customers waited in line outside one shop in Denver.

"We wanted to be a part of this movement," said Brandon Harris, who drove 20 hours from Blanchester, Ohio. "We're making history here."

Another shopper, Jacob Elliott, traveled from Virginia, to join the crowd waiting in the pre-dawn chill. He said he wrote reports in uni about the need to end prohibition of marijuana, but never thought it could happen in his lifetime.

"This breaks that barrier," he said. "We can buy it like any other free-market product."

Yeah, some states have legalised it. I know too many over there who use it for medicinal purposes, however who still have to break the law

I would imagine this will make it much harder for the US authorities to try to ban ecigs.
Good move, will probably be more effective at healing the US economy than anything else they have tried.

Funny I had just finished reading a similar story from one of our papers over here....
One day all goverments will wake up and stop prohibition...it does not work and forces people to become criminals...
I hope it goes well and they make poop loads of tax for them...

The legalisation of weed in America has also caused heaps of new vaporiser innovations for people don't want to have to smoke weed as well.

Because there are no big multinationals from BT and BP that have their businesses threatened by legalised pot sales
