Not sure that it has been covered and it is a little older but it is newish to to me having found it in my newsfeed from the World Vaping Organisation

It is an uncomfortable topic but one that will be brought up from time to time as a possible weapon

Some of the comments and links are an interesting read too

mods feel free to wipe the subject if its too much ...

ďBut I donít want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you canít help that," said the Cat: "weíre all mad here. Iím mad. Youíre mad."
"How do you know Iím mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldnít have come here.Ē

bluuuuuuddy hell. if suicide prevention is seriously an argument for lower nic concentration in juices, they'd better look at the number of paracetamol in a pack, the length of rope you can buy, licencing for purchasing kitchen knives (forget all about stanley knives, razor blades and the like), access to high places, and on and on and on ... where would it ever end?? that has to be the most ridiculous arguments for restricting nic i've seen so far.

Horrible and painful to even consider

Signs and symptoms Nicotine poisoning - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nicotine poisoning tends to produce symptoms that follow a biphasic pattern. The initial symptoms are mainly due to stimulatory effects and include nausea and vomiting, excessive salivation, abdominal pain, pallor, sweating, hypertension, tachycardia, ataxia, tremor, headache, dizziness, muscle fasciculations, and seizures.[4] After the initial stimulatory phase, a later period of depressor effects can occur and may include symptoms of hypotension and bradycardia, central nervous system depression, coma, muscular weakness and/or paralysis, with difficulty breathing or respiratory failure.[4][1][19][20]

OD and poisoning are standard 1st line suicide attempt material, most 1st attempts are one of the two with things from around the house or workplace

Honestly, when ya in that state of mind.
You will grab what ever is convenient.

But better get used to it, cause Big Pharma, polliies and nanny state media will be wheeling this sh!t out on a weekly basis once ecigs hit terminal velocity.

Cure the disease not the cause of death.

if someone really wants to kill themselves, they will. i've seen "attempts" that are more of a cry for help than anything, and i've seen the real thing, where a person has taken action that will assure there is no chance of survival. either way, it is incredibly sad that anyone can get to that point, and i think the help that is out there for people whose lives' feel that hopeless is woefully inadequate. however, restricting the amount of nicotine people have access to will not make an iota of difference if they are determined to kill themselves. they will find a way.

    And on that link

    Lessons learned:

If someone wanted to commit suicide, he or she should not use an E-liquid. Execpt from nausea, abdominal pain, shivering and voluminous vomiting it will not have any effect.

Not trying to diminish peoples mental illness but scroll down a bit further and this is what it says which goes towards the science.....

Three cases… In one case the patient ingested 1500mg nicotine and thus more than 25 times the presumedly lethal dose of 30 to 60 mg. The only symptoms were nausea, abdominal pain, shivering and voluminous vomiting.

It's about time euthanasia was available.
Then potential suicides can get a doctor assisted exit.
