Unfortunately, the Guardian is just a messenger here. This is the link to the original letter: 129 public health and medical authorities from 31 countries write WHO DG Chan urging evidence-based approach to ecigs | Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education

WARNING: Do not read without first securing means of protecting against bursting into flames!

It is the old regurgitated garbage; save the children, don't know what's in them etc. etc. Back to stockpiling

EEEEEEHEHEHEHEHE.... Both articles are so pathetically predictable. If you want to waste some time... Just try stopping an Aussie doing something they want to do.

Aussie smokers? They've been kicked around by these idiots for a long time. That kicking is about to bite them in the ass.

It's a crying shame they don't apply evidence based reasoning to outlaw elective circumcision of defenceless infants.

But you see they make too much money from this barbaric procedure!

That letter seems all about fear of tobacco company involvement, nothing to do with the reality.

Tobacco companies will be pleasantly surprised if all they had to do to kill e-cigs was get involved in the market.

I fear that was their plan all along.

My thoughts exactly. I think they knew, maybe even planned for people like S.C would demonise ecigs once BigT got their dirty fingers in the vapour pie.

When someone is that extreme, they become utterly predictable.
