Interesting... Things are afoot. I wonder if Big Tobacco is involved? It could be bad for us.

Stock up on your Nic before June 2015.

    Here we go!

I wonder if SC conveniently took his long service leave?

Maybe I am just being cynical.

5 weeks from document release to tender close. Smells like a predetermined outcome. That submission would be fking colossal. This will be interesting.

The tender is already biased. Despite this being a tender to summarise the evidence, only the benefits are "potential", not the risks.

Yes, I found a couple of things interesting.

Firstly, they include ENNDS (Electronic NON nicotine delivery systems) which directly comes from the WHO Cop6 outcome. Secondly, they include Brazil among the usual suspects US EU UK and Canada. Why Brazil? Maybe because ecigs are banned there outright?

I laughed when they mentioned 'stakeholders', which obviously is not us, the users.

These consultants charge a shitload of money, and who pays? We do....the ones who are barely considered as relevant stakeholders.

Once the tender is won by a business, I think it's worthwhile that we contact the international groups that have some clout and ask them to submit. Because we don't have a Vaper Association or Vendor Association, we will need some International support. I know that Prof Robert West of the American Council on Science and Health submitted to the last "consultation process" so hopefully he and others will do the same again.

Its the timing (straight over Christmas & New Year) that is the sneaky bit.
Rules out a lot of potential candidates simply because they don't have the people over that time
